Usaf Mcdonnell

Formed in 1946, the Blue Angels U.S. Navy (USN) are suspended officially for the first time in the military air demonstration team. The group performs over 70 shows in 34 locations in the U.S. each year, where still employ many of the same practices and techniques in their aerial displays as in 1946. His first appearance was 1956 in Toronto, Canada. During the four days the Salon du Bourget in 1965, the Blue Angels were the only team to receive a standing ovation. Since its inception, flew more than 427 million viewers worldwide. The team has worked so far eight aircraft including the current F/A-18 Hornet.
Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat (1946)
Descendants of the F4F Wildcat, the Hellcat is one of the two main combatants USN company in the second half of the Second World War. It was the most successful aircraft in naval history, 5163 destruction of aircraft in service in the Navy SU and the Marine Corps, and an additional 52 with the fleet air arm of the Royal Navy during World War II II. The Blue Angels, known simply as the "Navy Flight Exhibition Team" at the time, a Hellcats made three specially modified during their performance Inaugural Craig Field, Florida. On July 19, 1946, the team officially adopted the name "Blue Angels" after a popular nightclub in New York.
F8F-1 Bearcat (1946 to 1949)
The Bearcat door was the last piston fighter base built by Grumman. Affectionately known as "Oso" was intended to be an interceptor aircraft. It is often mentioned as one of the best fighters in the use of piston engines ever built, surpassing even many of the first jets.
Grumman F9F-2 Panther (1949 to 1954)
The panther is the most widely used fighter USN Korean War. He flew 78,000 production and was responsible for killing the air first by the navy in the conflict. It was the first flight of jet aircraft for the Blue Angels.
Grumman F9F-8 Cougar (1954 to 1957)
The Cougar is a company based in the hunt for the panther. It replaced the right of the panther with more modern swept wing.
Grumman F11F-1 Tiger (1957 to 1969)
Le Tigre is a single security company based combat aircraft, best known for its use as demonstration aircraft. His career in the fight lasted only four years, but the Blue Angels flew for nearly ten years. It was the first squadron supersonic aircraft.
McDonnell F-4J Phantom II (1969 to 1974)
The Phantom II is a tandem seat, supersonic, long range, while weather fighter-bomber. He was the primary air superiority fighter and fighter-bomber workhorse of the U.S. Air Force (USAF), Navy and the Marine Navy during the Vietnam War. He was the only aircraft to be flown by both the blues and the USAF Thunderbirds.
Douglas A-4F Skyhawk (1974 to 1986)
In December 1974, the team reduced to subsonic Skyhawk cheaper. It primary light bomber of the Navy in the early years of war in Vietnam. The Skyhawk has also pioneered the concept of "buddy system" self-refueling concept, allowing the aircraft fuel supply to similar, without the need for a dedicated truck.
McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet (1986 – present)
The Blue Angels used the Hornet since the end of its 40 years anniversary and unveiled the stylish device, 8 November 1986. The power and aerodynamics of the Hornet that may lead to a wide angle slow attack "tail sitting" maneuver and fly a loop with landing gear in training, none of which were reproduced by the Thunderbirds.
