Chateau de Chambord

King Francis I is not content only with the castles of Chenonceau and Amboise. It has acquired over 10,000 acres of prime hunting and decided to build the world's most beautiful game Lodge. "Chambord, built in decades by Francois and his successor, Henri II and Charles IX in the sixteenth century.

Completely restored today, Chambord comes as the most extravagant of all the castles of the Loire – 500 feet wide with 440 rooms and 365 chimneys. The great central staircase is believed to have been designed by the great Italian, Leonardo da Vinci. Has double spiral that allow both sides to people up and down at the same time without meeting. Château de Chenonceau

Chenonceau Castle surprises with its two floors, 260 meters from the Grand Gallery on the River Cher essential. Originally "acquired" by King Francis I, who then passed to his successor, Henry II, who in 1547 gave to his mistress Diane de Poitiers. Diane has expanded the castle and built a bridge over the River.

Amboise Castle

Chateau Clos Luce

Not more than half a mile is the Castle of Amboise, Clos Luce, a house designed by Leonardo da Vinci. He has spent the last three years of his life here, under the patronage of Francis. The rooms are equipped with 40 models of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions, for you can admire their foresight and impressive mental powers past 500 years.
