Why the military, aviation and law enforcement have … different call signs for the 26 alpha characters?
My Dad always insisted that we remember the license plates of vehicles driving. My letters and numbers always Goofy 1HB D46, a boy desperate for home sex (six). But you hear other people use call signs, and no two seem to be the same. Why there is no universal rule ??????
The using a phonetic alphabet no matter what you use (there is only one rule taught by the military), so it's clear that you are using one. People use all the time, for example, spelling his name in the phone. While people are aware that a word used to represent a single letter, then all is well.
